Why give me your attention?
Being late diagnosed with ADHD, you tend to feel a mix of emotions. Relief. Sadness. Grief. Anger. Resentment. Joy.
It’s also easy to feel like you’re alone and you don’t have anyone who understands.
This newsletter is for anyone feeling that. This newsletter is to let you know how very untrue it is that there isn’t anyone who could possibly get what you’ve gone through. What you go through.
While ADHD looks different for everyone who lives with its effects, my goal is to share my experiences, highlight commonalities, foster conversation and community, and ultimately be an advocate for the next generation of those with ADHD and mental health struggles (especially women, girls and those assigned female at birth).
And I’ll do it using the gift I was given. The written word.
Attention, everyone!
